Hey Gogoo fam! Meet Sal, a Pharmacy student at the University of Abuja. Her story is filled with suspense, hilarity, and a bit of drama. Dive in to see why she thinks her lecturers are the worst and share your advice or thoughts in the comments!

Sal’s Story:

Can you introduce yourself and tell us what you study?

My name is Sal, and I’m currently studying Pharmacy at the University of Abuja.

Why did you choose your university and course?

Choosing this university was a no-brainer for me because it’s close to home. Initially, I wanted to study medicine, but I ended up with pharmacy, and honestly, it’s been awesome so far. I have no plans to switch.

Tell us about your admission process.

My admission process was one with so much suspense. I kept checking every day and seeing the same thing. I wasn’t sure I was going to get in. Ah yes, I was meant to travel to another state with my sister, and after packing, I got the admission news just before I left. I had to ditch the trip and proceed for screening. It was quite an event!

What was your first impression of the campus?

My first impression of the campus was, “Is a normal campus meant to be this large?” It was jaw-dropping and beautiful too. I stay in the school hostel at the moment.

What’s the most hilarious thing that has happened to you on campus?

One of the most hilarious moments I’ve had was when a cat appeared in the kitchen at 1 am. A friend of mine, who hates cats, was the one to see it first. It was a funny moment seeing how she and the cat were scared of each other, both looking for a way out.

How would you describe your lecturers?

But let me tell you, my lecturers are the worst. They are quite nonchalant and not encouraging at all. This has made navigating my studies quite challenging.

How has making friends been for you?

Making friends hasn’t always been easy for me, but I’ve met some amazing people I’m grateful for, and some to keep away from.

Are you involved in any clubs or activities?

I haven’t been involved in any clubs or activities because I haven’t heard of any in my school.

How do you manage your finances?

Financial management has been tough, especially with unexpected expenses popping up all the time. One thing that has helped me is planning and writing down lists. It may sound petty, but it helps a whole lot, trust me!

What challenges have you faced with your lectures?

One of the most amusing challenges I’ve faced is the whole lecture situation. Waking up so early and going for a class that might not even hold is frustrating. It got worse when we went a whole week without electricity. It was terrible!

Conclusion:

Sal’s experience at the University of Abuja has been a rollercoaster ride. From dealing with nonchalant lecturers to managing financial challenges, she’s had her fair share of ups and downs.
